I worked on the art departments of film sets in Cape Town, I ran a small health retreat business and then I taught the coolest little Montessori preschoolers in Berkeley.

With my diverse background I bring a unique perspective to problem solving. Working in the film industry gave me a critical eye for aesthetics and a knack for working calmly under pressure. In a funny way, being a Montessori educator taught me the basics of the design process - design an activity, observe a child using it without interjecting and make refinements based on key insights from the observation.
